(More customer reviews)Dr. Bronner's is really fantastic stuff!I keep find more and more uses for it around the house.We've gotten to the point that we have replaced all of our toxic synthetic chemical products with this! The only thing I find it terrible for is washing windows, it leaves a film and you spend more time removing the film than the dirt!Otherwise, this stuff can easily replace 6-10 products around the home.

Be warned of this Peppermint, even though the peppermint is natural, it is extremely strong smelling.So strong, it can cause irritation for some people.I tried to use it on my floors, while it cleaned incredibly well, it nearly ran us out of the house the smell was so strong.This is even with me diluting it to a massive degree. I would recommend Peppermint for hand soap, dishes, laundry, anything outdoors.But would use something like Unscented, Lavender or Almond for general house cleaning, body soap and shampoo.

We also found this product is fantastic for cleaning our italian leather furniture!Normally we have to buy expensive solutions to effectively clean it while not damaging the leather.This stuff works perfect on it.If you use this in the bathroom for hand soap you don't need any air fresheners after you have a bowel movement. The peppermint quickly overtakes any other odors.We now use Bronner's for cleaning our jet tubs.Before they were very difficult to clean because you cannot use abrasive chemicals, but Dr. Bronner's practically melts the grim and dirt right off them!

Finally, I have dry skin.Up to this point I have been using Ivory Soap and it is horrible on my skin.A couple days of using Bronners and my skin is back to being normal!I love how this product rinses off so easily and leaves no films.

(More customer reviews)I bought this soap for my children hoping it would help the skin on their hands.All of them suffer from dry, cracked, bleeding hands in the Winter time.Regular hand soap strips too much of the natural oil from their skin.I would say within a week of using this product their hands had healed up and looked soft and healthy.I also felt great about using a product with all natural ingredients.I would have loved to keep using it, but my kids went through the bottle pretty quickly and I just can't spend that much for soap on a regular basis.I had 5 children using it and I would guess it lasted about 3 weeks.Maybe it would help if one pump put out a smaller amount of soap?

*Works well for babies 2 months and older - Currently works really well at clipping my baby's nails (9 wk old baby).

THE BAD:

*Magnifying glass is irrelevant - I was really looking forward to this product because of the magnifying glass feature but surprisingly it didn't help that much in cutting my 6wk old baby's very small and thin nails (at the time).

*Not for newborns - IMO, This nail clipper is best to use after 2 months of age.

*Suggestion for change in product design - Not sure if it's possible for the makers to do this... but, I think making it so the cutting blades set position is much closer together would be a good idea. It will reduce the time and effort spent trying to target the nail.. also make it easier to use on newborns.

OVERALL:

*I should have stuck with the baby clippers I got (part of a grooming set) as a gift which is virtually identical to this product minus the magnifying glass but it works which is why it gets 3 stars! :)

I would recommend this to everyone.Imagine bathing your kids in something that cleans well, smells great, and leaves zero chemical residue in their bodies!I bought a lot of other products from this brand, and all of them have proven to be quite effective.I would give this ten stars if I could - it's just THAT good!

(More customer reviews)I find that I'm more apt to religiously apply (and re-apply) Baby Blanket sunscreen to my 2 year old son's squirrelly body because it's TOTALLY NON-GREASY! It doesn't have a funny smell, it's PABA-free and non-stinging, and it's made for babies AND adults with sensitive skin. And there's NO residual gunk on your hands (or clothing, carpet, etc) at the end. I've tried practically every sunscreen on the market and this is the only one I'll use on my son( my husband now happily uses this as well). It has an SPF of 50 and seems to withstand water, the Arizona heat, and my sweaty toddler remarkably well. The titanium dioxide (a recommended ingredient if you're looking for optimal sunblock) formula makes it go on white, so you can see exactly where you have and haven't applied. It comes in a spray version but I've had the best luck (no missed patches here and there OR sprayed walls, furniture, the dog) with the old-fashioned lotion.

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant.I have been using this lotion since about week 12.I use it every other day on my belly.I have no stretch marks at all!(However, from what I've heard stretch marks are due to your genes and creams/lotions really don't prevent them anyway.) I primiarly use the lotion to help prevent dry skin and itching.The lotion does not have a strong smell, but it does smell pretty.I highly recommend this product.I have a few other Bella B products, and I love them all!

I was hoping to find a soap for my kids that would not be drying because my daughter has very dry skin. This is great because you don't have to buy shampoo. It makes my kid's hair and skin so soft and it smells very nice-although pretty "earthy". It does smell a little funny right out of the bottle but on the kids it's very nice. My husband thought it was so good he uses it too. I took it for all of us to use on a camping trip but my hair didn't like it-it stayed greasy but it could have been the water or the fast cold showers! ANyway, I love it and I did the subscribe and save so it comes automatically to my door. Perfect!
