The Original TummyTub Baby Bath Set - Clear Tub with Green Base Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)After seeing the video add online and the coverage it had on a tv morning show I thought I would splurge and purchase, now I wish I had saved my money. I purchased the tub and the stand, almost 100.00 bath tub, I would expect amazing results. Not only does my little guy hate it and screams the entire time he's in it, but its miserable if you want to actually wash your child. If a soak is all you need then its fine, but try to wash anything below the head and forget it, you have to lift the baby out of the water with one hand and try to wash him with the other and dunk him back down before he gets cold (and not feeling very safe while doing this either), or you're washing him underwater and then theres no soap on your cloth.I really wish I had passed on this purchase.

Alex Rub a Dub Tub Target Screaming Monsters Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I'm constantly searching for good bath toys.Seems they are hard to find. This toy indeed works; but my son (almost 4 yrs) seems bugged by it and does not want to play with it.This is a piece of foam held to your wall with a suction cup. There are three targets. If you squirt water on the targets, the corresponding monster makes a short noise. One out of the three monsters makes a very annoying noise. That particular noise also seems to be louder; though nothing a bit of Scotchtape won't muffle. My 2.5 year old has not mastered being able to squirt the stream of water directly at the target; and I think this would be a good activity to improve hand/eye coordination - if only my 4 year old would allow it to be played!Overall, the toy does what it was advertised to do.However, I think it's pricey because it is just a piece of foam with some basic electronics. If you're desperate for a new bath toy, this one works. But for the price, I think you can find something better.

Duck Mini Bath Mat Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought these based on the reviews and the reviews of the full sized tub mats. I purchased different designs (crab, turtle and fish) as well. These are great and do stick to the bottom of the tub. I wash them off after the bath and stick them to the sides of the tub to dry. Here are a few things I found out that were not mentioned in earlier reviews. These are great little mats, but they are easily pulled off the sides and bottom by my son. (He's a big boy though so don't let that deter you from purchasing unless you have a brute force kind of kid that never gives up) Even with that said, he only pulls them off to chew on them and because I have so many (12) he doesn't get to them all and they serve their purpose well, no slips in the tub! If you don't clean them with soap and water, they will get slimey, like any other bath mat, so very important to clean them regularly with soap and hot water along with any bath toys. The color from the duck transfered to our inflatable snug fit tub when it was leaning against one of the mats. Great alternative to having a big mat to deal with.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 13 month old son who loves the water - the fountain has some great height to it so I recommend that it be for outside. The first one I bought the on/off switch didn't work so I took it back and exchanged it. Got the second one and it worked for the first 30 minutes or so then the on/off switch wouldn't work and the batteries ended up just running out. Don't waste your money on this

Johnson's Baby Essentials Bathtime Set 1 ea Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Being an RN I am aware that many, many studies show-and the American Academy of Pediatrics has stated- that TALC baby powder should never be used with children. By using a TALC powder a child can develop asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory tract issues. Johnson & Johnson still does sell TALC powder-along with other companies- but they have been smart!! Johnson & Johnson has finally put the cornstarch powder-which is recommended by the above resources and is safe to use- in their gift set! Way to go! Not only are they helping us-as parents- they are protecting our children and that is what this company stands for. This is a wonderful and safe set to have. I love the scents!

Summer Infant Rite Temp Baby Bath Shower Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our 6 month-old loves showers: it is like "rain" and she tries to catch it. Unfortunately our bathtub doesn't come with one.

This item is a really good idea because it gives you an average temperature of the water and can hold a good amount of it.

The problem is that you need to hold the button pretty hard to get the water and then the pressure is really really low... So it is a bit difficult to rinse my daughter.

Actually, I stopped using it as a shower and it became a bucket that holds clean water to rinse her after her bath: it is now not a cheap bucket...

Safety 1st Warm Me Shower and Bath Tub in White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)this tub has made life around here a little easier, gone are the days of having to use a cup to pour water over childrens heads to rinse out the shampoo, the spreayer on this tub helps tremendously. It was easy to assemble, and the instructions that came with it were clear and concise.the temperature strip on the side seems to be quite accurate for my baby's preference in water temperature.we use it everyday, and would highly recomend it to any that are looking for a better way to wash babys hair without the crying as wter sluices over their face.
now for the inconvienient things about it.. the sprayer doesnt always stop spraying when you let go of the button, and it is difficult to hold the tub still while you repump up the shower pert to give yourself enough pressure to finnish the bath.other than that this is a great product.

Reeve and Jones Water Works Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My son has had this toy for over a year and it's still his favorite bath toy. There are endless ways to play with it, and its design is brilliant. I have no idea why the other person has had so much trouble with this toy. For us, it has never fallen off the tiles (note: we have smooth tiles), and all the parts go together (no leaking). Even the shut-off valve still works after being banged and thrown and otherwise abused by my "Bam Bam" son. He enjoys figuring out all the different ways to create "water rollercoasters" and mixes them in during play with other bath toys. Definitely worth every penny!

Note: I commented on the review written by the person who gave this toy one star. Here's what I wrote in my comment: The pipes are not supposed to connect (only certain parts in the tank and water wheel connect). You can arrange the longer pipes in a myriad of patterns, zig-zagging back and forth until the water meets the holding tank at the bottom. I think this toy would be very boring and a pain to operate if you actually had to connect each pipe. You also wouldn't learn as much through trial and error, or have the chance to be creative through imagination and/or problem-solving.

Yookidoo Stack 'N' Stream Tub Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product a couple months ago for my children. They thought it was fun and it seemed to work fine. I recently discovered, however, that when we submerged it in water, orange water came out of the product. I discovered upon removing the battery lid that the liquid was from the batteries. I have pictures of this that I could attach if there was the option to do so here. There is no seal, so the battery compartment is not airtight. I believe this product should be recalled.

Rub A Dub Dub...Bath Time just became more fun! The Stack N Stream Tub Fountain is a captivating water jet fountain for bath time play. The base attaches to the bottom of the tub, drawing water up through the center and creating a magical foundation. As your little one stacks the boats and characters up on the base, water will flow through each one and out the top. Change the figures on top for different effects: red boat spins as it sprays, blue boat has a swiveling propeller, octopus sprouts in all directions and the scuba pal grows hair as he squirts water from his mouth. The figures are shaped for interchangeable stacking and your child, who will have no trouble turning the fountain off and on by themselves. 3 AA Batteries required.

Summer Infant Newborn-Toddler Bath Center & Shower Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)"Real World" review here:I was so ridiculously disappointed with this baby bath that I have gone out of my way to write a review for the FIRST time.

We bought this mainly for the shower attachment because it seemed like SUCH a great idea!BUT, after opening the box, we found out what a cheap, worthless piece of crap this really is.Here's why:

01. The hose/tube for the shower attachment is made out of a thin, shiny, sticky, vinyl that twists and crimps easily. In fact, right out of the box, it was already twisted and crimped and I tried to straighten it out (so water could get through), but I had no luck.It was like the tube had a memory of its own because every time I tried to straighten it out, it kept going back to it's crimped/twisted shape.

02.The shower head has a button to turn on the battery operated pump, BUT it's not an on/off button!!You have to continuously PUSH (with alot of pressure) the button on for the water to come out.If you subtly push less, the water will stop or just drizzle out.SO, you have to push HARD continuously and after about 15 seconds, the tip of your finger is aching.I am a guy and can take some pain, but this is just insane.Did they test this product themselves and think, "Yeah, we want it to be difficult to keep this thing on . . no pain no gain.".ALSO, if you are so lucky to straighten out the tube, the water pressure is WEAK.I know there shouldn't be alot of water coming out for a baby, but pouring water over our baby's head took 1/10 the time it took to get the soap out with the shower attachment . . . go figure.

03.The pump takes 6 AA batteries which I guess isn't so bad, but it seems a little over excessive.I have no clue how long they last since the first time we used the bath, was our last time. The pump is also LOUD which scared our little one.

04.The tub itself was OK because it had a pad glued to the bottom, but there were no "stops" built in to prevent our baby from throwing herself backwards in the tub.Other tubs have a raised area in between the legs to prevent this from happening.

Overall, this was a HUGE disappointment. The user experience is not only difficult, but abysmal.I am flabbergasted at how a product like this can actually make it to market.Summer should be ashamed of themselves.
