Batya Cushioned Infant Baby Bather Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love the Batya baby bather! My baby is so relaxed and happy having her bath. And I am relaxed with her. Genius invention!

Product Description:
The Batya cushioned floating infant bather is an essential aid to make baby's bath safe and pleasurable from your newborn's very first splash! The soft-touch Batya provides a warm and safe environment for baby's bath time. It securely nestles your infant's body while supporting his head safely out of the water. Simply place the Batya in a shallow bath tub and enjoy a fun bath every evening! What makes the Batya a great alternative to cold, hard plastic baby baths and bathers? 1. The Batya cradles your baby in the tub. Cradled in the Batya your baby is comfortable, relaxed and safe. The soft supportive shape prevents from tipping over, allowing him to float softly above water. 2. The Batya is made of a soft and gentle material. Its soft shape and gentle fabric adjusts itself to baby's shape and hugs him with softness. It is not firm and hard on your baby's body like the plastic infant bathtubs. 3. The Batya makes bathing your baby so much easier for you. The Batya make it easier for you to wash your slippery, squirming baby. You can reach and bathe all of baby's parts without straining and lifting him out of an uncomfortable plastic tub. 4. The Batya allows your elder child and your baby to have a bath at the same time. Give a bath for all your kids at the same time! Placing the Batya in the adult-sized bathtub allows your elder child enjoy a bath together with your baby. 5. The Batya is easy to clean. The one piece Batya is super easy to clean. There are no complicated parts to remove and scrub! Just rinse under running water and let it hang to dry. You can also throw it into the washing machine! 6. The Batya is light and portable. As a light weight and foldable baby tub, the Batya is easy to store and carry. Batya is for babies that lie in the bathtub. Once your baby can sit up unassisted (usually around 7 or 8 months of age) - it is time to graduate to the Papillon baby bathtub ring!

The Original TummyTub Baby Bath Set - Clear Tub with Green Base Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)After seeing the video add online and the coverage it had on a tv morning show I thought I would splurge and purchase, now I wish I had saved my money. I purchased the tub and the stand, almost 100.00 bath tub, I would expect amazing results. Not only does my little guy hate it and screams the entire time he's in it, but its miserable if you want to actually wash your child. If a soak is all you need then its fine, but try to wash anything below the head and forget it, you have to lift the baby out of the water with one hand and try to wash him with the other and dunk him back down before he gets cold (and not feeling very safe while doing this either), or you're washing him underwater and then theres no soap on your cloth.I really wish I had passed on this purchase.

EasyWalker FlexiBath - Blue Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)From what I understand, Flexibath has been quite popular in Europe and just arrived in the US in April this year - and just in time for our family, as we were about to transition our almost 2 1/2 yr old out of the infant tub, but disliked having to deal with doing a bath in our full-sized tub.I was hoping to get an orange one, but looks like the only colors being offered right now are the blue and white ones.It is one of those products where you go, why didn't anyone think of this before?!We would have given it 5-stars if it weren't for the cons stated below. But all in all, WE LOVE THE FLEXIBATH!!

PROS:
- Great for travel! It fits into our large suitcase, no problem. No more icky hotel bathtubs.
- Great for our small space bathroom. It folds nicely and securely.
- Bold color is fun!
- Our daughter enjoys bathtime more because bathing in the Flexibath feels like she's in a "pool."It has more depth than a regular infant tub.
- The plastic that it's made out of seems softer and lighter than that of a normal infant tub.
- Prob because it's a relatively new product, I could only find one other retailer online that sells this tub, and Amazon offered it at about the same price, but with free shipping, so you save about $10 if you purchase thru Amazon.
- Great for travel!!Did I already mention this?We travel a lot as a family and love this tub!!

CONS:
- It's a bit difficult putting the drain plug in.No problem taking out, but to put back in, you have to push it in hard to make sure the drain is completely sealed.
- When the tub us filled, it's rather flushed to the surface it's sitting on, so when you pull the plug to drain it, it doesn't drain as effectively. We solve this problem by having our daughter scoot to one corner and lifting another corner of the tub slightly for the tub to drain faster.
- Cumbersome to use for newborns, as it doesn't include a backrest - you'd have to use one arm to support the baby while you bathe them. (We saved the backrest from our old infant tub in the event of Baby #2 :-) )
- Pricey, but the convenience and great design is so worth it! It says it fits up to 4 yrs, so maybe there is some water cost-savings over time by not having to fill up a full tub...?

OTHER ISSUES:
- It doesn't seem to be much wider than a normal infant tub, but the depth and simple basin design more than makes up for that.
- It says you can fit two toddlers in it at the same time, but it doesn't look like that would be comfortable. As it is now, our daughter fits just right with a little room to play - I can't imagine she'd still fit in it when she's 4 yrs old. (And she's only in the 50th percentile, height- and weight-wise)

The Original Rubber Duck Sitting Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've taken it for granted that most rubber ducks are no longer made of rubber. Most duckies are made of PVC, more commonly known as vinyl. I collect ducks with my son and when I first saw this one, I thought it was a little funny looking and small for the price. That was before I learned the difference. This duck is made of natural latex rubber and it has a squishy feeling, similar to a dog toy. I wasn't sold on it, until it became my son's favorite bath toy and I feel good about it being a healthier alternative for him. I've also come to like the coloring, which is different from the other ducks on the market, it has varying shades of yellow, orange and a touch of green. It's a good little duck.

Click Here to see more reviews about: The Original Rubber Duck Sitting

Product Description:
Bathtime just isn't complete without our classic, latex rubber duck. The Sitting Duck is made out of all-natural latex rubber, which can be cleaned by gently by wiping with a sponge or cloth using warm water and a small amount of mild soap. An environment-friendly alternative to soap is to use a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water, which also prevents soap or detergent residues on the toys. If you dislike the smell of vinegar you can substitute strained lemon juice. Keep your Sitting Duck out of direct sunlight to avoid having it dry out and become brittle over time. Many bath toys are made with Phthalates, a class of chemicals that are used to plasticize toys. These chemicals have been linked to cancer, hormone disruption, kidney and liver damage and asthma. Bisphenol-A (BPA), another hormone-disrupting chemical is also found in plastic toys. Because they remain freely mobile in plastic, phthalates are ingestible and leachable when children squeeze and gnaw on them. This has led some experts to recommend using no vinyl at all in the bath. Sitting ducks are a great alternative to plastic bath toys. Sitting Duck is designed for kids ages 3+ years old. The classic natural rubber duck, with crown, is the perfect playtime toy for young children and adults alike! However, due to small parts that could pose a choking hazard, it is NOT recommended for children under the age of 3. Who said you couldn't read in the tub?

Safety 1st Nature Next Infant-to-Toddler Bathtub (Ages 0M - 24M) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this tub for my 8 month old because it was bio plastic and seemed a good size for storage. The tub I received was not the same color as the picture and had scratches in the plastic making an extremely sharp surface, WOULD NOT PUT MY BABY IN THIS TUB. Needless to say, she also did not fit in this tub, at all! She is 16 lbs but not sitting up yet. The "non slip" surface is one textured picture of a baby on the back. Would NOT recommend.

Ore Originals Living Goods Original Collection Bath Tub Toy Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag a few months ago and its great.I originally bought it for my daughter's tub toys but I also used it to carry her beach and pool toys. It's large and has mesh on the bottom and one side so the water can drain out. It's easy to take along where ever you go.The opening is large so I don't know what that other person was talking about.I love it so much that I am going to buy another one this way I have one for the beach and pool and one for the tub.I also love the fact that I can hang it because the suction doesn't work on my bathroom tile. That was my biggest problem when looking for a bag for tub toys, one with no suction but most of them suction only but this one hangs also so it's great. And you can hang it outside to dry after the beach or pool.My sister commented on how it great it was and she is going to buy one also.

Munchkin Bath Friends Toy Organizer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)At bestit is lopsided, which annoys me, because the left suction cup DOES NOT STICK AT ALL!!The other suction cup holds sometimes, but not if the bath wall is wet or if the suction cup gets wet...both of which will happen since it is used in the bath after all. The bag also falls off with a tug...and my 9 month old loves to tug it, because the design is pretty and eye catching ( one of only 2 good things). It is also large enough to hold all his bath toys.
Also, wish it was full mesh for better aeration of his toys.
Disappointed and would not recommend this product.

OXO Tot Tub Drain Stopper, Blue Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)So other drain thingees (don't know what they're called) you get at loews or home depot and have to install it by screwing it on, or something more complicated! This one is so rediculously easy, clever and you can CLEAN IT too!Works really well.I can see it possibly not working for certain odd-shaped bathtubs with drains that aren't flat but for the typical generic tub, it's really quite convenient. Clever too.Even has a little suction cup on the little tail end to hang on your bathroom wall when you're done plugging the drain.Who would have thought-it's so simple- just cover the drain verses that whole metal screw thingee that we all grew up with!
