I purchased the tub and the stand, almost 100.00 bath tub, I would expect amazing results.Not only does my little guy hate it and screams the entire time he's in it, but its miserable if you want to actually wash your child.If a soak is all you need then its fine, but try to wash anything below the head and forget it, you have to lift the baby out of the water with one hand and try to wash him with the other and dunk him back down before he gets cold (and not feeling very safe while doing this either), or you're washing him underwater and then theres no soap on your cloth.I really wish I had passed on this purchase.

The tub I received was not the same color as the picture and had scratches in the plastic making an extremely sharp surface, WOULD NOT PUT MY BABY IN THIS TUB. Needless to say, she also did not fit in this tub, at all! She is 16 lbs but not sitting up yet. The "non slip" surface is one textured picture of a baby on the back. Would NOT recommend.

(More customer reviews)It's a great IDEA, but they didnt really hit the nail on the head.The paint doesnt stick to the stamps, so you sort of get colored watery blobs wherever you attempt to make a stamp. It might work better if my kids didnt get so much water in it, but it IS a bath toy, right?My kids also wanted to basically use ALL the paints - like in ONE bath!My one daughter did get a little irritation on her bottom, but there was a LOT of paint in their bath! I also have no idea where to get refills of just paint? Since our paint is gone, we now have stamps and brushes with no purpose.I probably Will end up buying more though.

I think those other reviews are seriously for some other product.This item was NOT a make-it-yourself bath sachet kit???And you definitely would not have girls at a slumber party all taking a bath together!Definitely wrong item.

(More customer reviews)I received two of these Aquababy Bath Rings as Christmas gifts for my twins.They are 7 months old and have outgrown their baby bathtub that we used in the sink.I also was looking for a way to bathe them at the same time as they got older.My twins are sitting up supported, but are still a bit wobbly on their own.

Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this product.My only frustration is one that is mentioned in other reviews:the suction cups do not work on a textured tub.However, I did test the suction cups on the smooth side of my tub and they worked great which is why I still gave the seat 5 stars.

This seat is a lifesaver for me!I am able to bathe both babies at the same time which saves me a considerable amount of time and is much more fun for them.I do have to watch them extremely carefully as they could tip when reaching for toys due to the lack of suction cups, but this is something I do anyway so not really a big deal.One of my twins is large for his age (21 pounds) with chunky legs and has no problem fitting in this seat.They do not seem to be bothered by the hard plastic or uncomfortable.You can place a hand towel between the baby and the seat for more padding, especially for little boys.

I highly recommend this seat!

My two-month old hates it and it makes bathtime a nightmare. He slides down constantly and hits the "safety" bar that keeps him from sliding directly into the tub that hurts his little privates. I never feel like he is safe in this seat because it really doesn't hold him securely.

(More customer reviews)i looked around at reviews before putting this on my registry and i am so glad that i did. this is the easiest way i can think of to bathe a baby, so much better than bulky plastic tubs. you just use it in a low level of water in the family bathtub. the material is breathable and soft, but don't be fooled because it dries out easily and quickly too. it only takes about 15 minutes to go from saturated to completely dry. this product laughs in the face of mildew. i especially like the loop that makes it easy to hang up for drying or out-of-the-way storage. you don't have to sacrifice comfort for function.

if you are looking for possible negative aspects, the pillow floats a bit if you fill the tub very full. it isn't really a problem , but maybe worth mentioning if you fear your baby may float away to the other end of the bathtub. the metal rod on the back has come off, but it is really so simple to reposition that i wouldn't call that a "con" either. it hasn't ever come off when my baby was on it... just when i was prepping the bath area.

I too never have problems with these tubs leaking since we just empty the water and keep the tub inflated.

This item is a really good idea because it gives you an average temperature of the water and can hold a good amount of it.

The problem is that you need to hold the button pretty hard to get the water and then the pressure is really really low... So it is a bit difficult to rinse my daughter.

Actually, I stopped using it as a shower and it became a bucket that holds clean water to rinse her after her bath: it is now not a cheap bucket...

The Original TummyTub Baby Bath Review

(More customer reviews)Having a child that is now two years old and another one on the way, Iconsider myself a mom that is in the know about lots of products for babies to toddlers on the market.I'll be reviewing the Tummy Tub today, a product I would have loved to know about and owned back when my daughter Melody was born.

First and foremost, bath experiences for your baby should not be upsetting or traumatizing in any way. This brings me to remembering the first few baths given to my daughter once we were home from the hospital. I had purchased one of those long bath tubs that's a massive space hog because I didn't know any different and that's what was available to me in the stores I shopped at.

My daughter would end up crying for her entire bath and be completely freezing no matter how quickly and much I tried to keep warm water on her. Also when she got a little bigger but not quite able to sit up on her own yet, she would end up getting bruises on her back from lift that was in the tub I purchased. I was not happy with that at all and neither was she as you can tell from the photo on the right.

My second child hasn't been born quite yet and with that being said, I have only been able to test and review the Tummy Tub with my two year old daughter. Before I received this tub, I was skeptical if she would even fit but low and behold she does and absolutely loves her bath times even more!

I like that I can sit over the side of the bathtub and easily wash my child without bending over uncomfortably or kneeling on the floor, very helpful to a very pregnant mommy with an already achy back I might add. Though if wanting to wash your baby elsewhere, you could easily purchase the stool accessory also available on the Tummy Tub website which also doubles as a toddler step stool.

I've been using the Tummy Tub for about a week now and have had no issues with it whatsoever.Will I use this with my newborn? You can bet that I will though I will be careful because bathing a newborn baby in a sitting position can be a little tricky with them not being able to support their own head quite yet. I will note the more I have used this tub, the more comfortable I have gotten using it.

I highly recommend the Tummy Tub to all mothers.

It was easy to assemble, and the instructions that came with it were clear and concise.the temperature strip on the side seems to be quite accurate for my baby's preference in water temperature.we use it everyday, and would highly recomend it to any that are looking for a better way to wash babys hair without the crying as wter sluices over their face.
now for the inconvienient things about it.. the sprayer doesnt always stop spraying when you let go of the button, and it is difficult to hold the tub still while you repump up the shower pert to give yourself enough pressure to finnish the bath.other than that this is a great product.

Summer Infant Newborn-Toddler Bath Center & Shower Review

(More customer reviews)"Real World" review here:I was so ridiculously disappointed with this baby bath that I have gone out of my way to write a review for the FIRST time.

We bought this mainly for the shower attachment because it seemed like SUCH a great idea!BUT, after opening the box, we found out what a cheap, worthless piece of crap this really is.Here's why:

01. The hose/tube for the shower attachment is made out of a thin, shiny, sticky, vinyl that twists and crimps easily.In fact, right out of the box, it was already twisted and crimped and I tried to straighten it out (so water could get through), but I had no luck.It was like the tube had a memory of its own because every time I tried to straighten it out, it kept going back to it's crimped/twisted shape.

02.The shower head has a button to turn on the battery operated pump, BUT it's not an on/off button!!You have to continuously PUSH (with alot of pressure) the button on for the water to come out.If you subtly push less, the water will stop or just drizzle out.SO, you have to push HARD continuously and after about 15 seconds, the tip of your finger is aching.I am a guy and can take some pain, but this is just insane.Did they test this product themselves and think, "Yeah, we want it to be difficult to keep this thing on . . no pain no gain.".ALSO, if you are so lucky to straighten out the tube, the water pressure is WEAK.I know there shouldn't be alot of water coming out for a baby, but pouring water over our baby's head took 1/10 the time it took to get the soap out with the shower attachment . . . go figure.

03.The pump takes 6 AA batteries which I guess isn't so bad, but it seems a little over excessive.I have no clue how long they last since the first time we used the bath, was our last time.The pump is also LOUD which scared our little one.

04.The tub itself was OK because it had a pad glued to the bottom, but there were no "stops" built in to prevent our baby from throwing herself backwards in the tub.Other tubs have a raised area in between the legs to prevent this from happening.

Overall, this was a HUGE disappointment.The user experience is not only difficult, but abysmal.I am flabbergasted at how a product like this can actually make it to market.Summer should be ashamed of themselves.

(More customer reviews)Our bathtub is an older model and too narrow for the well reviewed PRIMO pearl tub, so I was really excited to see this product available as a smaller option. It's a great first tub for our newborn and works well -- she loves bathtime and I think this tub has a lot to do with it. The incline is helpful for her to sit upright (even though she can't do so herself). I never bothered with the duck toy bag/cushion as I figured it would take forever to dry, and our girl is too little for toys still. But it's a nice-to-have, I guess. What's best about this tub: lightweight, fits our bath, is molded with "hooks" so it can dry on the shower bar into the tub, and not take up floor or tub-floor space, and it has a drain in the bottom so we can empty the tub without having to tilt it over. There are two wells at the foot of the tub (for shampoo or soap bottles as a caddy?) which I use for clean water for rinsing at the end of the bath. Totally recommend this for little babies.

UPDATE: Still loving it at 8 months, although now that our little one can sit herself up and has much longer legs, we're just starting to outgrow it and think about moving to the big tub like a big girl. Still a great buy, though, and totally recommend.

UPDATE: Now past a year and we still use this tub each time. Mostly though because I can't figure out what to buy next -- rings seem suspicious, big tub too big. But I figure until her legs drape over completely (and she's 30in, 24lbs) we've still got more mileage.

The boat is designed so that it sits quite low in the water and the bottom is a mesh so the water is meant to come in to it.What holds it up is the red float all the way around the outside. It comes with 5 different toys an Octopus which is hollow and has holes in for the water to drip out, a lobster scoop, a squirty clown fish, a clicky seahorse and a clicky poseable walrus.There is a handle on the boat which can be used to hang the boat to dry out or as my son does carry it around in and out of the bath.There is also the rotating thing on the front which he sits and bats at and giggles when Mummy gets splashed.The entire boat drains out really well.I wish all bath toys were this well thought out and designed.Highly recommended!
